Collector Doman Singh has appointed nodal officer and trusted person (trusted person) for purchasing paddy in 96 procurement centers of the district for monitoring and purchasing paddy of right quality and from registered farmers at the procurement center level in the Kharif marketing year 2023-24. In the Kharif marketing year 2023-24, paddy will be sold through biometric based procurement system by the farmers themselves or by being present at the paddy procurement center through their nominee. For this, the Aadhaar number of the farmer and one of his nominees will be taken during the farmer registration period.
In case of failure of biometrics authentication of the farmer and his nominee, the farmer’s paddy will be purchased after doing biometrics authentication by the trusted person appointed for the purchase of paddy. Paddy procurement centers will be inspected by nodal officers through mobile app. The procurement centers will also be inspected and supervised from time to time during the paddy procurement period.

They will act as trusted persons for all the paddy procurement centers of the district as per the instructions of the District Food Officer.
