Tiger dies in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

Umaria, india : On Wednesday, the carcass of a tiger was found in a mutilated condition in the world famous Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve of the district. The incident took place at RF 339 Thanks Tiraha under the Tala Kor area of the Tiger Reserve, where the patrol team of the park found the carcass of a tiger during morning patrolling. After the higher management officials were informed about the incident and the spot was sealed and the spot was examined with sniffer dog and metal detector, RO officer Ranjan Singh Parihar said that there were serious injury marks on the tiger’s body. The neck is broken. Prima facie it appears to have died in a fight with another tiger. The age of the dead male tiger is around seven to eight years.
