Inauguration of the first phase of Rajasthan Heritage Museum – Inauguration and foundation stone of 25 works worth Rs 110 crore : Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur, India: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that due to the decisions of the state government, Rajasthan has progressed in every field including tourism. The historical works done in the state are being discussed across the country and other states are following them. He said that along with the per capita income, the happiness index should increase in the state and the state should become a leader in every field, for this a vision document is being prepared by the state government under Mission-2030. Through this, it is our resolve to make Rajasthan the leading state of the country by the year 2030. There is a passion for development among the people of the state and till now about 2.50 crore people have given their suggestions for it. This vision document will be released on 5th October.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was addressing the interaction program with stakeholders related to tourism sector organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra on Sunday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 25 works worth about Rs 110 crore of the Tourism and Art, Literature and Culture Department, including the inauguration of the first phase of the Rajasthan Heritage Museum. He said that the tourism sector is important for the economy of the state. This creates employment on a large scale and the income generated from this accelerates the development of the state. The suggestions given by the stakeholders are very important to make the state a leading state by 2030.

Historic decision for tourism sector

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the state government is continuously working with dedication to promote tourism in the state. For this, many important decisions have been taken by the state government with far-reaching thinking. Giving industry status to tourism is a huge step. This has increased investment in the tourism sector. Also, urban tax for units related to this industry has been reduced by 80 percent and electricity duty by 30 percent. The state government has increased the amount of Tourism Development Fund to Rs 1500 crore. This will be increased further in the coming time. He said that new areas of tourism are developing in the state. Rajasthan Heritage Museum established in Sawai Mansingh Town Hall is another new link in the tourism sector of the state. Historic work of Chambal River Front and Oxygen Park has been done in Kota. Due to this, a large number of domestic and foreign tourists will come to Hadoti area.

Every class is getting relief

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that every section has got relief from the decisions of the state government. Keeping in mind that every household should have savings, the state government took important steps. Up to 100 units of electricity has been made free for domestic consumers and up to 2000 units for agricultural consumers. At the same time, gas cylinder is being made available for just Rs 500. More than 93 percent people in the state have joined the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. About 1 crore people are being given a minimum social security pension of Rs 1000 per month. Keeping in mind the humanitarian approach, the state government decided to restore the old pension. About 3 lakh youth are being given jobs. He said that regularization of contract workers is being done by making Rajasthan Contractual Hiring Rules. To end the contract system in the state, a company will be formed on the lines of Rexco. With the enactment of the law, a fund of Rs 200 crore has been constituted for the welfare of gig workers. Rajasthan is the first state in the country to do so. Similarly, the Right to Health Act and health insurance of Rs 25 lakh also do not exist anywhere else in the country.
