Bhopal, India : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that on October 5, on the 500th birth anniversary of Rani Durgavati, the foundation stone of a grand memorial at a cost of Rs 100 crore will be performed on the land of Madan Mahal. This grand monument will be a symbol of the bravery, valor, service, good governance and glory of Rani Durgavati and will keep the memory of the queen alive for ages.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Shivraj Singh Chouhan) was addressing on the sacrifice day of the tribal hero of the revolution of 1857, Raja Shankarshah and his son Kunwar Raghunath Shah, organized at the Veterinary Ground during his stay in Jabalpur. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was welcomed in the program wearing Veera and Safa, symbols of tribal culture.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the immortal revolutionary Raja Shankarshah and his son Kunwar Raghunath Shah did not accept the slavery of the British and raised the trumpet of struggle against them. Fearing his bravery and bravery, the British put him in front of the cannon and blew him up. The sacrifices of Raja Shankarshah and his son Kunwar Raghunath Shah cannot be forgotten. These heroes will always be a source of inspiration for us.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Martyr’s Day is being organized every year on 18th September by the state government to remember the sacrifices of tribal heroes. He told that all the 14 announcements made for the poor tribal class in the Martyr’s Day program organized in Jabalpur in the previous year in the hospitality of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, have been completed. With the completion of these announcements, the tribal brothers and sisters of the state are joining the main stream of the society and their social and economic empowerment is taking place.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while mentioning the bravery story of the brave queen Rani Durgavati, the ruler of the Gond Empire, said that Rani Durgavati had established a huge empire with her bravery and strength, which included Madan Mahal, Gadha Mandala, Singrampur is included. He also fought bravely against the Mughal ruler Akbar and sacrificed his life, but did not accept the subordination of the Mughals.

Tribal people got rights on water, forest and land through PESA Act

The Chief Minister said that the state government has run various schemes for the welfare of the tribal brothers. By implementing the PESA Act, the government has given strong rights over water, forests and land to the tribes in 89 tribal development blocks of the state. In these development blocks, tribal brothers and sisters have done remarkable work in collecting tendu leaves. Their economic condition has strengthened. The government’s priority is that everyone has equal rights over resources. Now, so that children of government schools can also study medicine, the government has reserved five percent seats for children of government schools. He said that to encourage the children, laptops have been given to the children who have scored more than 75 percent marks and scooters have been given to the children who have topped in class 12th with first division from government schools.

The state government has also done the work of giving respect to the women of the state by starting the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Awas Yojana. Now, through the Chief Minister Ladli Brahmin Awas Yojana, funds will be provided to the Ladli Brahmins living in kutcha houses to build pucca houses. Filling of its forms has started. Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and dear sister will now be given LPG cylinders at concessional rates of Rs 450. He said that the outstanding electricity bills of up to 1 kilowatt of poor families of the state will be paid by the government. The campaign to change the lives of the people in the state by adopting the ideals of Raja Shankarshah and Kunwar Raghunath Shah will continue.
