Jharkhand, India : The government has special emphasis on improving the road transport and traffic system in rural and remote tribal areas of the state. In this series, Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Yojana is to be started to connect rural areas with block, sub-division and district headquarters. So that people living in remote villages can get access to accessible transportation system. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today held a high-level meeting with the officials of the Transport Department regarding this scheme and gave many important instructions.

While deciding the route, pay special attention to public utility points

The Chief Minister said that special attention should be given to public utility places while determining the route of Mukhyamantri Gram Gadi Yojana. Under this scheme, routes for operation of buses should be determined in such a way that hospitals, schools, colleges, weekly markets and local markets and railway stations are present. This will provide a lot of convenience to the villagers in their transportation and the scheme will remain effective.

Develop an app to ensure that villagers get the location of buses regularly

The Chief Minister said that an app should be developed so that the villagers can get continuous information about the buses operated under the scheme. There should be such a system in this app so that people can know when the bus will open. Where has the bus reached and when will it reach its destination? With this, villagers will not have to wait for buses due to lack of information.

There should also be a system of civilian monitoring

The Chief Minister said that to maintain the effectiveness of the Mukhyamantri Gram Setu Yojana, it is necessary that there is a strong system of citizen monitoring of the buses operated under this scheme, so that no driver can take undue advantage of it. Above .

Chief Minister Gram Vahan Yojana is something like this

● There is a plan to operate 250 buses in the first phase of this scheme.

● Under this scheme, all senior citizens of Jharkhand, school and college students, disabled, HIV positive, widows and protesters will get free travel in buses.

● Under this scheme, bus operators running buses on fixed routes will be given subsidy on purchasing vehicles. Apart from this, permit and fitness fees will also be waived.
