Tatapani Mahotsav concludes, colorful presentation by Bhojpuri singer Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua)

Chhattisgarh : A large number of devotees and spectators from neighboring Chhattisgarh states come to the historical Tatapani Mahotsav celebrated in Balrampur-Ramnujganj district. As per the local demand, Bhojpuri artists invited in the cultural evening of Tatapani closing ceremony gave their performances.

On the last day of the program, Bhojpuri singer Dinesh Lal Yadav inaugurated the cultural evening with Bhojpuri songs. He sang Bhojpuri songs with Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey. There was a series of cultural presentations and songs in the programme, during which the audience present enthusiastically honored these artists with thunderous applause. A large number of spectators from neighboring states gathered for the programme.

On the concluding day of the three-day Tatapani Mahotsav organized at Tatapani, a religious and philosophical place in Balrampur, various school and college students of the district along with other artists gave their respective presentations. During this time the venue was completely filled with spectators.

Tatapani Mahotsav lasted for 3 days

On the concluding day of Tatapani Mahotsav, various school and college students of the district displayed their talent on the stage of Tatapani and showcased the art and culture of Chhattisgarh through different genres of dance and drama. Along with this, Naved Group spread their colors on the stage and enthralled the audience by performing their dance in the guise of Radha Krishna on Bollywood songs and “Radha Teri Chunari Lal Mein”.

humorous poems at the festival

The entire crowd echoed with laughter at the poems of comic poet Banshidhar Mishra. Local artists and team presented classical music in the program. Ashish Mahato presented a wonderful tune on Bollywood songs using saxophone, which was highly appreciated by the audience.

On the last day of Tatapani Mahotsav, Tribal Fashion Walk was organized by the district administration for the preservation and awareness of tribal culture. In the Tribal Fashion Walk, college students walked the ramp wearing tribal jewelery and costumes, which was greatly appreciated by the audience.

To save the extinct tribal culture again

This unique initiative of the Balrampur district administration was wonderful to revive the extinct tribal culture and to showcase and understand the tribal community and their lifestyle to the audience. Through this Tribal Fashion Walk, the audience also got a better opportunity to know the tribal culture and their attire.

Chief guest of the program, Chhattisgarh State Tribal Development and Agriculture Development Minister Ramvichar Netam, Collector Remijius Ekka, Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh and District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Rena Jamil honored the artists by presenting mementos.

During this, Samari MLA Uddeshwari Paikra, former Surguja MP Kamal Bhan Singh, Balrampur District Panchayat President Nisha Netam, Balrampur District Panchayat member Pushpa Netam, Balrampur District President Vinay Paikra, elected representatives of the area, distinguished citizens and a large number of spectators were present.
